Each plan is custom written based on the Small Business administration requirements. I invest heavily in businesses so I try and provide an investor standpoint with each plan I write. I keep the plans short, sweet, and to the point. As a business owner, you're more likely to use a plan that won't take all afternoon to write.
When writing plans, I typically go with the garbage in, garbage out policy. If you don't provide me with a lot of details about the business, the result is going to need some work. It's important to provide as many details as possible so I can relay the necessary ones in the plan.
