As a CEO, there's hardly anything that is more vital for your business as being able to present your product, service, brand, goals concisely and in an appealing way to your stakeholders (investors, banks, team members, new recruits, and so on).

I ran several businesses and startups for which I raised venture funding. I have been in thousands of meetings and presentations with investors, banks and team members and wrote hundreds of business plan. I want to share my insights with you:
- Understand who's the business plan for: banks want to see extended business plans of 15 pages, whereas investors want to see short executive summaries of 4 pages
- Business plans are much like dating apps: stakeholders decide really quick if they like you or not, first impressions are important
- Don't try and make a book out of it, keep it as concise as possible and use graphs wherever possible
- Number tell, stories sell
